While in college, Tierra held executive positions in her university's newspaper (The Daily News) and magazine (Ball Bearings) and helped bring many accolades to the publications. In 2019, she also won the regional Keating Competition and competed against six other finalists across the state in a rigorous news-based challenge. Tierra has interned with Beyond Type 1, Apartment Therapy, The Everygirl, and The Everymom, creating countless articles and social media posts. While at Girlboss, Tierra was an editorial assistant responsible for writing a daily newsletter, articles surrounding political movements, and features about women in positions of power making a difference. She specialized in all things astrology and was appointed the company's resident astrologist. She was also given a chance to speak with a variety of women from different spiritual and astrological backgrounds, as well as put in contact with business owners who wanted her opinion on products that were to be released into the metaphysical, astro-lover community.
