Why You Shouldn't Put Stained Clothing In The Dryer
By MARCO ROSSI
You shouldn't put stained clothes into the dryer because the continual hot heat from the appliance will set the stain into the fabric, making it nearly impossible to remove later.
It's easiest to get rid of a stain when it's fresh and hasn't dried. However, the dryer's heat can actually bake the stain into the clothing's fibers, exacerbating the problem.
Instead of using the dryer, it's advised to check for stains after washing the item. Then, either rewash the clothing or air-dry it to prevent the stain from becoming permanent.
