Why You Should Think Twice Before Relocating Kitchen Appliances
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
Replacing or relocating appliances that are typically built-in while renovating kitchens may entail big investments of time and money, explained Robert Johnson of Coast Appliances.
"Relocating the electrical and plumbing systems connected to your kitchen appliances is a huge expense," Johnson told Realtor. "The labor cost alone can be a burden
on the pocket."
Johnson also suggests changing flexible and movable items rather than permanent fixtures if you're on a budget, as even the cost of materials is high due to inflation.
Not only does changing permanent fixtures add extra time, but you'll also need costly professional help to carry this out, as doing it wrong can lead to bigger problems.
