Why You Should Never Buy Cleaning Products At Home Depot

The Home Depot seems like you can get any home item imaginable as they conveniently have an abundance of items in the same place. However, some items in particular, like cleaning supplies, should be bought elsewhere.
While Home Depot advocates for being environmentally friendly, CBS News claims their products are filled with toxic chemicals, including sodium hydroxide and ammonia. Your best bet is to shop at Target or a local grocery store for cleaning supplies, and it doesn’t hurt to read labels and check the ingredients.
In 2018, the company announced they were working with suppliers to remove nine toxic cleaning products by the end of 2022. They’re looking to provide solely eco-friendly cleaning products that will “impact indoor air quality,” so homeowners won't have to worry about harming themselves or their environment.
