Use This Pool Noodle Hack To DIY A Beautiful Stacked Planter
By LIBBY THOMPSON
Decorative planters can put a strain on your budget, so instead use a pool noodle to make your own custom tiered planter that even a beginner DIYer can put together in no time.
You'll need three planters of different sizes — any kind is fine as long as you can add drainage holes. You’ll also need a pool noodle, a dowel rod, potting soil, and some flowers.
Start by customizing the planters to suit your outdoor decor. Next, make holes that the dowel can fit through in the bottom of all three planters, and also add some drainage holes.
Next, cut the pool noodle into three parts of the same height as each planter, and glue them inside the planters. Then, cut the dowel rod to the total height of all three planters.
Slide the dowel into the bottom planter’s noodle and add soil and flowers, leaving space for the next tier. Then, slide the next two tiers onto the dowel and add soil and flowers.
