With only a pair of Dollar Tree lantern solar light yard stakes and a round plastic planter, you can make a free-standing rechargeable lamp that doesn’t need an electrical outlet.
The light source is protected by a transparent casing, while the pointed matte-black stake secures it in place. The simple plastic planter will blend seamlessly with your décor.
Begin by painting the planter to complement the black light stakes. Then, glue a block of foam that’s about a third of the planter’s height onto the interior floor of the planter.
Next, embed the light stakes into the foam to keep them upright, and set the lamps at different heights. Stabilize them by adding coarse gravel and a layer of smooth pebble stones.
