Use These Kitchen Staples To Easily Clean Sticky Residue Off Your Oven
By ETHAN HARRISON SMITH
Over time, ovens become sticky as grease residue and food splatters buildup. Thankfully, the solution to this problem is already in your pantry: cooking oil and white vinegar.
First, apply a bit of cooking oil to any sticky or hardened grease in your oven. This softens up the gunk, allowing you to scrub it away using a toothbrush or a scrubbing brush.
Next, use some white vinegar to buff the spot. This works especially well on stainless steel and glass, with vinegar’s acidic content cutting through any remaining stickiness.
Make sure to use this hack whenever grease spots arise to maintain a clean oven. Leaving them unchecked will result in baked-on stains that are far more difficult to remove.
