Use Nate Berkus' Laundry Folding Method To Save Dresser Drawer Space
By RHIANNON FAITH IRELAND
Often made from a thick material, items like sweatpants can be awkward to fold and can even take up more drawer space. Fortunately, Nate Berkus has a space-saving folding trick.
This hack comes in handy if you don’t have the room or the budget for another drawer chest or wardrobe. It also allows you to pick the right clothing quickly when you’re in a hurry.
Lay out your sweatpants and fold them in half before partially folding one side (not completely over). Fold it in half two more times until it stacks in a neat parcel-like shape.
Put the item forward or sideways in your drawer, depending on the amount of space you have. Berkus’ folding hack is also ideal for pants made from thicker materials, like cargos.
