Use Bay Leaves
To Keep Cockroaches Out Of
Your Home
By JENNY TINDER
If you want to get rid of the cockroaches in your home without any harmful pesticides, all you need to do is go to your spice cabinet and whip out some bay leaves.
Bay leaves are believed to be an effective natural deterrent against cockroaches. While they don't kill these insects, their strong scent is said
to repel them.
Once you’ve identified the cockroach hot spots in your home, place crushed or whole bay leaves in bowls or open containers and distribute them throughout the identified zones.
While eco-friendly and typically safe for humans, this method may not entirely eliminate an infestation but can be a part
of a broader integrated pest management approach.
Whether used fresh or
dried, bay leaves offer the convenience of not breaking down easily, ensuring that they remain intact and are easy to clean up afterward.
