Glass jars are ideal for lanterns with battery-operated lights, copper LEDs, or candles. Paint the outside for a stain-glass look and hang it, or use it as table decor.

Create a tiny ecosystem by placing potting mix, moss, and small plants like succulents in your glass jar. Be sure to include rocks or shells to help drain the soil.
3. Reusable Jar
Zero-waste stores allow you to fill your jar with food or cleaning items to limit waste. Weigh the empty jars first so you only pay for the volume you purchased.
