Turn Basic Ikea Kyrre Stools Into A Highly-Prized Set

According to TikToker @artteacherinquarantine, you can quickly turn an inexpensive Ikea Kyrre stool to look like it came straight from a designer boutique.
Sand the disassembled legs and seat of the Birch Kyrre stool. It comes with a natural wood finish, so you can choose the color scheme to match your room's decor.
Use spray paint meant for wood. For a durable paint job and to give the stools a more polished look, follow up with a clear coat, like Rust-Oleum's matte or gloss option.
You can use any
wood stain product for
the wooden legs, but @artteacherinquarantine uses Minwax Clear Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner to give a shinier, more even finish.
You can also paint the legs in addition to the seats for an extra colorful look. Once all the pieces dry, assemble your upgraded Kyrre stools per Ikea instructions.
