Turn A Pool Noodle Into A Stunning DIY Valentine's Day Centerpiece
By ALEXANDRA RODRIGUEZ
If you’re hosting a Valentine’s Day party, make your main table stand out with this striking floral heart-shaped centerpiece that’s easy to create using Dollar Tree pool noodles.
Get two pink pool noodles, skewers, red or pink faux flowers, two packs of pink curly bows, a pink box with a lid, rubber bands, and a Valentine's Day "Love" sign from Dollar Tree.
You’ll also need a hot glue gun and an X-Acto knife. With the knife, cut a hole in the lid of the pink box that’s big enough to push the pool noodles into without them popping out.
Then, with your hot glue gun, add glue to the ends of your two pool noodles, slide them through the hole you made in the lid, and glue them to the bottom of the inside of the box.
Next, create a heart shape with the top ends of the noodles and hold them in place with rubber bands (or pink or red duct tape). Secure the pool noodles on both sides with skewers.
To complete your centerpiece, cover the pool noodles with the faux flowers, glue the “Love” sign onto the front, and use the curly bows to hide the skewers.
Make several centerpieces or even gifts using Dollar Tree Valentine’s Day decorations, like sparkly garlands, tinsel with red confetti and heart shapes, or Valentine's Day bears.
