Turn A Dollar Tree Container Into A Handheld Hummingbird Feeder
By SASKIA AINSWORTH
Rather than observing hummingbirds from afar, get up close with the birds by converting a travel salad dressing container from Dollar Tree into a handheld bird feeder.
Opt for a container with a red cap to increase the chances of hummingbirds flocking to you. Next, draw or attach artificial flowers to the bottle to make it more inviting.
Then, fill your container with hummingbird food. Once filled, just open the lid and patiently wait for your winged friends to arrive.
It might take a few tries before the hummingbirds get used to you. Just make sure you hold your DIY handheld feeder tightly, so it doesn’t slip out of your hand.
