Tuck Away Your Garden Hose With A Stylish Flower Pot Trick
By TRINITY ARCHIE
Garden hose reels can serve as good storage, but they can be pricey. Luckily, you can hide your hose in a cheap plastic flower pot and lay a planter base with plants on top of it.
Once this garden hose storage setup is assembled, the hose can be pulled into the flower pot. When you need the hose, lift the planter base off the flower pot and pull it out.
First, you’ll need a plastic flower pot large enough to hold the hose and a planter base that fits on top of the pot. You’ll also need to add handles to the base for easy lifting.
Lastly, you’ll need a screwdriver, two small blocks of wood, and screws to fix the blocks inside the pot. Ensure the plants you put on the planter base can thrive in shallow soil.
