Butterflies are drawn to the sweet scent of watermelon, and after taking a closer look, they happily sip the fruit’s juice. Discourage ants by placing the fruit in a dish of water.
Watermelon is best used during the day. Keep kids and pets away from the fruit so they avoid other pollinators like bees and wasps, and remove the slice at night to stop raccoons.
