Try This Ornamental Grass Trimming Hack For Easy Cleanup

Trim ornamental grass in your lawn without worrying about the mess it leaves by tying it with a zip tie, a twine, or a bungee cord before you start trimming.
Get one zip tie if you're dealing with a small amount of ornamental grass, but for a larger amount, you may have to get multiple zip ties and lock them into a larger tie.
Wrap the zip tie firmly around the base of the grass so it will stay together once it has been cut, leaving enough space beneath the tie so you
have room to trim the grass.
Use hedge clippers to cut through the grass. Then, remove the zip ties, twine, bungee cord, or whatever you used, and toss the grass away in the best manner possible.
