Your Worn-Down Kitchen Cabinets With This Easy Wallpaper DIY
By V BAWA
Painting old kitchen cabinets is a common fix, but when dealing with cracked or faded panels, peeled edging, dents, or scratches, peel-and-stick wallpapers might be your best bet.
First, remove any door knobs and clean the cabinet exterior so the wallpaper sticks properly. For recessed panels, trace the area and cut out the wallpaper to fit into the insides.
If you're dealing with a flat surface, stick the edge of the wallpaper directly to the top of the cabinet, pull it down to the end, and then cut it off from the roll.
Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles with a smoothing tool, trim the edges, and make holes to reinstall the knobs. For a statement look, apply the wallpaper to the insides, too.
