Transform Your Outdoor Space With This Pool Noodle Lighting Hack

Create the perfect party atmosphere in your backyard just in time for summer barbecues around the pool with this DIY outdoor light feature made with pool noodles and spring lights.
You’ll need several differently colored pool noodles from Dollar Tree or Walmart, some weather-safe polypropylene rope from Home Depot, and outdoor string lights from Amazon.
Cut the pool noodles into slices and string them onto the rope, interspersing the colors as you choose. Then, tie off the ends of your rope and twist the string lights around it.
Hang your lights on a perimeter fence, around your patio, or on an outdoor party tent. Just take care not to leave the lights on for too long or they could melt the pool noodles.
