This Money-Saving Swiffer Pad Hack Is An Absolute Must-Try
By MARCO ROSSI
If you're seeking a way to utilize Swiffer tools without purchasing their single-use disposable pads, consider repurposing cloth diapers you might have at home into mop covers.
While the diapers won't match the dust-catching ability of Swiffer dry pads — thanks to the latter's specialized electromagnetic fibers — they can still do a stellar job as a mop.
Most cloth diapers fit the Swiffer head, but if yours are on the larger side, just trim them down to the desired size and stitch the edges to ensure they don't fray
Next, push a cloth diaper into the head's fasteners. To use it as a mop, you can squirt cleaning solution directly on the surface or make a DIY version of the Swiffer
To do so, simply fold the diapers into thirds, put them in a plastic container, and saturate them with the cleaner of your choice. Allow them to soak for a few hours before use.
