The Spray Foam Hack That Makes It Easy To Fix A Broken Sidewalk
By NOAH HOIT
If your sunken sidewalk consists of large concrete or masony pavers that can be too cumbersome to remove, you can use spray foam to raise them back to the desired height.
Injecting foam under the paver will fill any voids and provide support, giving you a solid, leveled surface without making you remove the piece. Spray foam can last over 80 years.
Simply drill several holes through your sunken paver, spacing them 6-8 inches apart and ensuring they are large enough for your spray foam canister nozzle to snake through.
Jack up the paver to be flush with the other pavers, inject the foam into the holes, and fill the void. Let the foam cure for 8-24 hours, then fill the holes with concrete filler.
