The Simple Trick To Reuse Plastic Produce Bags In Your Home
By CHRISTY RAE AMMONS
After unpacking your fruits and veggies, don’t throw away the plastic produce bags they came in — instead, save them for the many useful ways you can reuse them around your house.
You can use them to line your bedroom or bathroom garbage bins instead of buying bags. They’ll likely only fit smaller trash cans, but this will still save money and reduce waste.
These bags are also good to keep beside your diaper changing table to securely discard dirty diapers and contain odors. You can double them up if you want to make them stronger.
If you have cats or dogs, use produce bags as pet waste bags. Keep some at your front door for dog walks or near your litter box to discard used litter without spills or smells.
