To make a small bathroom feel bigger, Gaines suggests finding a light-colored shower curtain with a texture or pattern that suits your taste.
In fact, using lighter shades throughout your bathroom will help make the space look larger. This includes the walls, floors, cabinetry, countertops, and even the grout.
Any color from the pale spectrum can work from blues to pinks, to various shades of white, and grays.
