If you're looking for a safe and humane way to get rid of moles, digging a trench about 2 feet deep and 6 inches wide around your garden or along your property line can help.
This barrier discourages moles from burrowing into already dug spaces. For added effectiveness, fill the trench with small rocks and refill it with soil once these critters leave.
You can also mix equal parts white vinegar and water into a spray bottle and spray it around mole hills. Avoid applying the solution on plants and grass, as it can cause damage.
Additionally, reducing the number of insects and pests in your yard can help limit the food supply that attracts moles, encouraging them to leave your yard and
move elsewhere.
