The Property Brothers Are Loving This Viral DIY Kitchen Towel Trend

On Instagram, Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott showed off towels being printed with stamps made from cut vegetables covered in paint, creating a crisp design.
You’ll need plain tea towels in any color, but white lets the paint shine through. You can buy a pack of white towels from Amazon for under $20 or check your local home stores.
Next, look for fabric or acrylic paint, and then visit your grocery store to pick up some fruits and veggies, which should be firm enough inside to leave a print on the towels.
Back home, slice the fruit or vegetable down the middle. For veggies like artichokes, you can cut off the tops and use the entire circle rather than just the profile of the item.
For citrus fruits, squeeze the juice out and cut more defined lines around the circle before dipping it in paint. You can just paint a bottom border or cover the whole towel.
With pears and apples, apply paint lightly and stamp gently. This will give you a solid shape that you can either draw or paint around with a thin brush for a more defined border.
For acrylic paint, iron the towel once dry to adhere the paint to it. If you wash and dry the towel first, add the stamps and iron it on medium heat to keep the prints in place.
