The Medicine Cabinet Staple That Can Remove Super Glue From Skin
By EZEKIEL MAINA
Rubbing alcohol, a handy staple found in most medicine cabinets, serves as an effective and eco-friendly solution for removing dried super glue from your skin.
To begin, you'll need a 70% concentration of rubbing alcohol, a cotton ball, a clean cloth, and some warm water. Gently rub the alcohol-soaked cotton swab over the affected area.
This helps to weaken the adhesive bond of the super glue. If required, use a dull-edged item, like a spatula, to carefully scrape away the softened glue, exposing the next layer.
In some cases, you may need to reapply the rubbing alcohol for better results. Once most of the glue has been removed, it's a good idea to wash your hands with soapy water.
Afterward, apply a moisturizing lotion to the area in order to help restore any hydration that might have been lost due to the drying effects of rubbing alcohol.
