Interior designer Bobby Berk tells Realtor that "replacing cabinet knobs" is a great way to "…instantly give dated cabinets a fresh new look," without breaking the bank.
While the total cost depends on the hardware you pick for the upgrade and how many you'll need to finish the job, knobs are often between $3 and $10 at local hardware stores.
Remove the old cabinet knobs by undoing the screw on the back side of the door. Then, put the new screw through the hole from back to front and screw the knob on a bit by hand.
