The IKEA Hack That Doubles As A Cutting Board And Stovetop Cover
By JAHAIRA ARTHUR
TikTok user @theorganisedeverydaymum has shared a clever hack that transforms two IKEA Lämplig cutting boards, priced at $25 each, into an attractive and functional stovetop cover.
The two boards are large enough to cover a standard 30-inch stovetop. Simply place them side by side over the burners to create extra counter space when the stove isn't in use.
When it's time to cook, move the boards to the countertop to continue your food prep. The blocks can also serve as trays or be propped against the wall as chic
kitchen decor.
Before use, hand wash the boards with mild soapy water and seal with a food-safe sealant. Resealing them every month helps prevent scratches and warping, extending their longevity.
