Some dryers can heat up to 134 degrees Fahrenheit, and with many essential oils having a flash point between 102-130 degrees Fahrenheit, this poses a significant
fire hazard.
While the water in the washing machine prevents essential oils from igniting, it's best to look up if a certain oil is safe to use, even if you plan to use it solely
for washing.
It's also crucial to understand that not all oil residues get washed off in the washing machine, which means even small amounts could pose a danger in the drying process.
