The Easy Solution To Keep Spiders Away From Your Home's Exterior
By JESSICA DANIELS
Maintaining a clutter-free environment, especially around the foundation of your house, is crucial for keeping spiders away from the exterior of your home.
Ensure that items such as wood piles, deck boxes, storage sheds, and firewood stores are positioned at least 6 to 10 feet away from your house.
For immovable objects like air conditioners or satellite dishes, establish a routine of brushing away cobwebs weekly using a broom or mop.
To further deter spiders, mix water infused with citrus with an equal part of witch hazel and spray this concoction all around the foundation of your home, windows, and doors.
You can also mix peppermint or eucalyptus oil with water and spray it around the house, or plant mint or lavender near windows to repel spiders.
Adding orange peels to the soil of your indoor and outdoor plants deters spiders and other insects that spiders feed on, thus discouraging them from seeking shelter near your home.
