The Dangers Of Using Cinnamon To Repel Cats From Your Garden
By MORGAN MCCRORY
While many believe cinnamon is a natural, harmless deterrent for keeping cats out of gardens, its effectiveness is disputed and could pose risks to your feline companions.
Though the ASPCA lists cinnamon as non-toxic to cats, it isn't entirely safe. If ingested, it can upset your pet's stomach, given that spices aren't a regular part of a cat's diet.
Additionally, cats with sensitive skin might experience symptoms resembling allergic reactions upon contact. Hence, it's advised to avoid exposing your pets to cinnamon.
