The Clever Way A Swiffer Can Clean Your Dirty Couch
By V BAWA
The general rule of thumb when cleaning a fabric couch is to thoroughly vacuum it every week, but if you’re a neat freak looking for a deeper clean, whip out your Swiffer.
All you need to do is take the Swiffer, wrap it with a microfiber cloth, and spray the cloth with a couch-cleaning spray of your choice. Then, go over the couch thoroughly.
Use a cleaning spray made for upholstery or for your couch’s specific material. For example, Biokleen Bac-Out is eco-friendly and can be used on rugs, carpets, and even laundry.
To tackle a specific stain, use Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day liquid soap from Walmart. Mix it with distilled water to create a soapy foam, and dip the cloth in the mix before use.
