The Apple Cider Vinegar Trick That'll Banish Crabgrass From Your Yard
By ANNETTE HIRD
Instead of a chemical herbicide, you can get rid of pesky crabgrass with lemon juice and apple cider vinegar. Plus, both products pose no harm to the soil or surrounding plants.
To make this natural weedkiller, mix a ½ cup of lemon juice with 4 cups of vinegar, and put this into a spray bottle. Spray it onto the crabgrass, covering the plant entirely.
Ideally, apply it in the heat of the day because the sun's intensity will help to effectively burn the leaves of the crabgrass. Don’t get the mixture onto the surrounding grass.
Once the weed is dead, which should only take around 24 hours, you should find it easy to pull out and discard. Don’t skip this step because the solution won’t kill the roots.
