The Alka-Seltzer Hack That Will Keep Your Silverware Polished

Your silverware can naturally lose its luster over time. Luckily, Alka-Seltzer, known for its pain-relieving properties, offers an effective and non-toxic way to restore its shine.
To leverage this hack, you will need original-flavored Alka-Seltzer tablets, a container large enough to fully submerge your silverware, water, and a microfiber cloth for drying.
Start by filling the container with water and dropping in two Alka-Seltzer tablets. As the tablets begin to fizz, immerse your tarnished silverware in the water and let them soak.
Once the fizzing subsides, which should take about two minutes, rinse the utensils with clean water and promptly dry them. This method works well polishing silver jewelry too.
