Sherwin Williams' 2023 Paint Color Of The Year Is Neutral And Bright
By RITA KUEBER
The trend toward warm colors is here, with innovative neutrals being highly favorable as they bring color into one’s home while blending perfectly with other neutrals.
Instead of selecting gray-on-gray or white-on-white, add something more lively and unexpected to your living space with Sherwin Williams' Color of the Year for 2023, Redend Point.
Redend Point is a blend of dusty rose and beige; a calm yet intriguing tone that takes on different shades depending on the colors around it, and the lighting in a room.
It may look darker in low lighting, but place it next to bright white and it takes on a rosy tone. Next to dark browns, however, it appears to be light tan with reddish undertones.
Sherwin Williams developed an entire palette to accompany the neutral shade. Pair it with other natural earth tones, especially ones from a burnished, wind-swept desert landscape.
If you're unsure about such a forward-facing color, you can try it out by adding small splashes of it to a room through artwork and accent items like pillows or area rugs.
Sherwin Williams has even partnered with Etsy to provide a wide variety of household items in the hue, which offers effortless style for your favorite rooms.
