Save On Dishwasher Pods With This DIY TikTok Hack

To make your own cheap and eco-friendly dishwasher detergent pods, you only need liquid dishwasher detergent and a clean ice cube tray, as shared by @the_gooch on TikTok.
To start, fill each ice cube section halfway with about an ounce of detergent. Freeze the detergent and, when ready to use, pop out a cube and place it in the dishwasher.
You can use a silicone tray to make it even easier, but make sure to keep the detergent tray away from other ice trays in the freezer to avoid any confusion.
If you follow @the_gooch, who uses a 125-ounce Cascade liquid detergent bottle from Sam’s Club, you’ll have about 125 loads worth of detergent for just about $10.
Compared to store brands that cost between $10 and $30 and name brands like Cascade, whose 90-count pods go for $28, you’ll be raking in the savings with this hack.
