Swiffer WetJets are a convenient cleaning tool, but they come with the recurrent cost of replacing the cleaning solution. However, a DIY hack exists to save money on these refills.
To implement this hack, pull off the cap of the WetJet cleaning solution bottle using pliers. Simply apply a gentle squeeze to the cap with the pliers and give it a twist.
Next, add 2 teaspoons of Murphy's Oil Soap, ½ cup of vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of Tea Tree essential oil, then fill the rest of the bottle with warm water before replacing the cap.
Shake it well to mix the contents before reattaching the bottle back onto the tool. Now, you can enjoy the benefits of the WetJet without the recurring expenses of branded refills.
It's crucial to note that this DIY solution is ideal for finished wood, linoleum, and tile surfaces, but avoid using it on stone or unfinished wood to prevent
potential staining.
