Reuse Wood Pallets For This DIY AC Unit Cover

While air conditioning systems enhance comfort, they don't add to a home's exterior appeal. A DIY wooden pallet project can improve your facade by covering the exposed unit.
YouTube user Making Manzanita shows how to repurpose wood strips into a neat-looking fence for the AC unit, allowing you to create a beautiful exterior without spending too much.
To build this unit, cut the wooden pallet into three segments to form a square layout adjacent to the exterior wall of your house, leaving about a foot of space around the AC unit.
While cutting the pallet, run your saw along the edge of the interior studs inside the pallet. Screw the sections together at 45-degree angles and add a horizontal trim on top.
