Staircases rarely get styled, but HGTV's Jasmine Roth revamped a staircase using simple decals that can also turn your own boring stairs into a decorative focal point in your home.
The "Help! I Wrecked My House" host explained that stair riser decals are easy to apply, come in a variety of prints, and are a budget-friendly way to instantly update your home.
You can get geometric prints from Etsy, wallpaper-like mural designs from Wayfair, prints that simulate clay tiles from Quadrostyle, or even ones with messages from Vinyl Written.
Measure the decals to ensure they’ll cover all the risers. Cut them to size, remove the backing, and place them on the stairs, keeping all lines straight and smoothing out bubbles.
