Mika and Brian Kleinschmidt’s “100 Day Dream Home” is a hit on HGTV, as fans love seeing them show off their amazing skills in under 100 days. With years of experience in real estate, design, and construction, it’s safe to say the couple knows a thing or two about how to make your home feel a little bit bigger.
One of their biggest tips is to keep the area bright and keep everything white, including furniture, since it’ll look more spacious, calm, and open. Big windows are a great source of natural light, and when they reflect off white walls and furniture, they make the room appear larger and airy.
If you’re not a fan of the all white room, you can add in some other natural colors like wood-colored accents, but you don’t want to overdo it, since balance is key. Mika and Brian suggest light wood shades for floors and dark wood shades as accents in the room.
