Make A Simple Lamp Look Expensive Using Cinnamon
By TRINITY ARCHIE
Whether you’ve updated your home’s decor or you’re bored with your glossy painted lamp base, you can make it resemble a stylish, stone-textured, earth-toned one using cinnamon.
You’ll need ground cinnamon; spackling; paint brushes; the paint colors Metropolis, French Beret, and Asphalt from Benjamin Moore; and Rust-Oleum’s Aged Gray and Clear Spray.
Layer the paint and spackling onto the lamp base as shown in The Reclaimed Heirloom’s YouTube tutorial. Let it dry, then rub cinnamon into the surface, using water to spread it.
Finally, add more paint, then set everything with Rust-Oleum's Ultra Cover Clear Spray. You can also skip some steps by buying a stone lamp base and using cinnamon to customize it.
