Keep Your Trash Bags Secure In The Can With This Genius Trick
By JACQUELINE DELIBES
Trash bags slipping inside the garbage can is a common problem. Fortunately, with a smart application of magnets, you can ensure they remain securely in place.
If your garbage can is metallic, you can use spare magnets you might have around, like those from your refrigerator, or buy a set of small, matching magnets for a neater look.
When setting a new bag, pull it a few inches over the can's lip, then secure it using several magnets around the can's top perimeter. This
will prevent the bag
from slipping down.
For plastic cans, you can use two-piece magnets. Place magnets around the perimeter inside the can and the others on the outside, clasping the bag in between.
