Think about where to place the mirror. Putting it on the wall opposite the room's entrance reflects the room back onto itself, appearing to go on farther than it actually does.
If you want a small room to feel lighter and airier, placing a mirror opposite a window will reflect the most light into the space. You can hang it or lean it against the wall.
