IKEA's Utility Cart Makes The Perfect DIY Garden Caddy
By BARBARA PAVONE
This easy hack transforms a $40 IKEA Råskog utility cart into the perfect portable garden caddy, with three tiers providing ample space for you to store your gardening essentials.
Add extra storage by securely attaching a $28 IKEA Skådis pegboard to the side of the Råskog using several ¾-inch two-hole straps and ½-inch flat head screws and bolts.
You can also use Skådis connectors to attach the pegboard. Lay the cart on the floor with the pegboard flat on top of it, and screw the connectors in place under the first tier.
Use S-hooks to hang tools on the pegboard and baskets to organize the shelf contents, and for less than $70, you’ll have a caddy to rival Amazon’s top-rated cart that costs $120.
