How To Use WD-40 To Remove Pesky Tomato Stains This Summer
By SASKIA AINSWORTH
Although tomato stains can be difficult to remove from clothes and fabrics, simply spray an ample amount of WD-40 on the stain before placing it in the washing machine to erase it.
Depending upon the severity of the stain, you can let the WD-40 sit on it for up to 15 minutes beforehand to allow the product to break down those tomato marks better.
The solvent nature of WD-40, which contains ingredients like naphtha and petroleum base oils, lets it penetrate stains caused by tomatoes, oils, and fats from clothes of any color.
You should always take care while using aerosol products and ensure that the space you're using has plenty of airflow.
