WD-40 is a lubricant spray that’s great for removing dry oil-based paint stuck on your clothes. This household item partially breaks down oils and grease while lifting stains.
Wear rubber gloves and spray the affected area with WD-40. Use a sponge to penetrate the stuck-on paint, and then lift any paint from the fabric with a clean microfiber cloth.
Soak the clothing in warm water and dish soap for a couple of minutes, then gently scrub the stain. The pigment should clear from your clothing, but repeat the process if needed.
