How To Turn Paper Towel Rolls Into A Stylish DIY Vase

To make a decorative vase with paper towel rolls, you'll need a hot glue gun, six cardboard tubes, five drinking straws, gold paint, and matte paint in your color of choice.
First, cut the tubes to your desired vase height, and trim the straws to match. Next, paint the cardboard exteriors — for example, use black to create a lush, velvety finish.
Spray paint the straws gold, then place one tube upright and hot glue the other five around it. Secure a straw where each side meets to hide the lines, add faux flowers, and voilà.
