How To Revive Your Rusty Outdoor Furniture With White Vinegar
By CARRIE BRADON
Nothing is worse than looking forward to spending some time on the patio, only to find your furniture covered in rust. Thankfully, some white vinegar can get it shining like new.
First, wipe your furniture with a microfiber cloth to remove surface-level grime. Then, fill a spray bottle with vinegar and add a shake of salt to improve the vinegar’s acidity.
Spray the rust with the solution, let it sit for up to 15 minutes, and then scour the surface until the area is clear. Give the furniture a final rinse before patting it dry.
You may need to repeat the process depending on the amount of rust. Since vinegar and salt can harm your plant and soil health, spray your furniture over pavement, not your lawn.
