How Pine-Sol Can Help Repel Mice From Your Home

Mice have an extremely sensitive sense of smell, and Pine-Sol is high in essential oils produced mostly from pine trees, making it particularly overpowering to them.
In other words, any time you clean your floors, or other surfaces with Pine-Sol, you're laying down a long-lasting and highly effective scent barrier against mice.
While wearing protective gloves, saturate some cotton balls with the Pine-Sol, and place them where mice might be entering from, or where you’ve noticed the most activity.
To maximize the impact, combine six spoons of Pine-Sol and a liter of water in a spray bottle and generously mist it in targeted areas before wiping away with a cloth.
