Hilary Farr's Genius Design Makes Drawer Organization So Simple
By MADISEN SWENSON
Kitchen drawers have a habit of staying stubbornly disorganized. Luckily, HGTV’s Hilary Farr has the perfect solution: adding a customizable pegboard to the bottom of the drawer.
In an episode of “Love It or List It,” Farr used removable pegs and a board to create drawer dividers and stands that could hold lids, food containers, plates, utensils, and more.
To recreate this look, buy a pegboard insert that fits your drawer’s measurements from any home retailer. Alternatively, DIY one by drilling holes into a board of scrap wood.
The biggest perk of this hack is its flexibility. While other organizers are limited in configuration, you can adjust the moveable pegs to accommodate items of any size and shape.
Additionally, it covers the entire bottom of the drawer, so no space goes to waste. Its adaptability allows for continued organization even as kitchenware needs change over time.
