Remove Rust
Get rid of rust on your metal shower curtain rod, hooks, or grommets by soaking a piece of aluminum foil in white vinegar, then using it to scrub the rust off.
Clean Oven Door
Soften any baked-on grease or food on the oven door with hot water. Add baking soda, make a ball out of aluminum foil, and use it to scrub the stains away.
Polish Silver
To remove tarnish, add a few tablespoons of baking soda to a bowl of hot water. Place your aluminum foil-wrapped silver item into the bowl and let it soak.
Reuse Aluminum Foil
When you have some aluminum foil that’s gotten covered in food, you can get more use out of it by smoothing it out and washing it in your dishwasher.
Fix Fireplace
Line the bottom of the fireplace with aluminum foil, then simply pick it up and throw it out when filled with ash. Then, scrub any grime off with a ball of foil.
